Plus, IRONMAN 70.3 Taupō has been selected as one of 20 races around the world awarding additional 25 slots to female athletes as part of the Women for Tri Program.

Over 5,000 athletes will descend on Great Lake Taupō on November 28 – 29, 2020 and you will want to one of them. Demand for every race will be high, so make enter early before the race sells out.

Event Experience

The event has been well established in Taupō for 11 years, with 2015 introducing the inaugural IRONMAN 70.3 Taupō, that has become a course to rave about. We're back in Taupo in 2019 for another fantastic event experience.

The 1.9km swim is located in the pristine fresh water Lake Taupō, the 90km bike rolls through New Zealand’s renowned rural landscape and the 21.1km run takes in the picturesque lake lined with spectator and local support.
