The highlight-packed courses start and end in the very heart of Stockholm. Both the 60 and 160km route lead all cyclists southwards before taking a turn and heading back into the city. The course profiles are predominantly flat, but also feature several inclines. So regardless of whether you’re a climber or rouleur – you’ll find plenty of opportunity to display your strengths at VELOTHON Stockholm.

If you are a recreational rider or taking on the challenge of a VELOTHON for the first time, then the VELOTHON 60 is for you. The 60km course takes you through the heart of Stockholm before leading you southwards to the turning point behind Vendelsö.
Our starting system makes sure you start with similarly skilled riders by placing you into a fitting start group. The field is split into ‘competition’ and ‘motion’ groups. Find out more about our starting groups here. The first 60km group starts at 08:10.
Are you an ambitious cyclist who wants to show what you're made of, or beat your last year's (or best friend's) time? The VELOTHON 160 is made for you. Take on the ultimate challenge on a beautiful course that leads you to Nynäshamn before taking a turn back to Stockholm. While there are no major climbs, the course profile is not to be underestimated and features many smaller inclines that make the course a challenging one to complete.
